I went into Feathers So Vicious expecting a dark fantasy romance, but wow — this book is dark. It’s intense, emotional, messy, and honestly kind of addictive once you get into it. The characters are deeply flawed and make some awful choices, but that somehow made me even more invested in what would happen to them.

The whole raven shifter world had this really gothic, haunting feel that I loved. Everything felt heavy and tense in the best way, and the chemistry between the characters was complicated, toxic, and impossible to look away from. There’s a lot of emotional damage, obsession, and power struggles woven into the story, so it definitely keeps you hooked.

That being said, this is absolutely not a light read and definitely isn’t for everyone. Check the trigger warnings first, because the content can get pretty brutal at times. But if you like really dark romance with morally gray characters, angst, and a creepy atmospheric vibe, this one is hard to put down. I finished it needing to know what happened next.
