King of Sloth is one of those books that’s just ridiculously fun to read. It’s got that perfect mix of tension, chemistry, and emotional depth, but it still feels like an easy, addictive page-turner. Like “just one more chapter” energy… and suddenly it’s 2 a.m.

The main characters are such a good contrast—he’s the laid-back, charming, totally-unbothered type (at least on the outside), and she’s more driven and put-together. But the more you get into the story, the more you realize there’s a lot hiding underneath all that confidence and attitude. And the slow burn between them? So good. The banter is sharp, the flirting is top-tier, and the tension builds in a way that feels earned.

What I loved most is that it’s not just spicy romance for the sake of it—it actually has heart. The characters feel real, with messy emotions and things they’re working through, and that made me way more invested than I expected. It’s one of those books that gives you the butterflies and the “okay wow that line hit me” moments.
