The Coldest Case

I really enjoyed The Coldest Case. It's more of a slow-burn mystery than a fast-paced thriller, but it completely pulled me in. The snowy setting added so much atmosphere, and it gave the whole story an eerie, isolated feel that fit the mystery perfectly.

What I liked most was how the investigation unfolded. Instead of relying on nonstop twists, the story takes its time revealing clues and peeling back the layers of a cold case that's been buried for years. I enjoyed trying to piece everything together alongside the investigators, and just when I thought I had it figured out, the story threw in another surprise.

The characters felt realistic, and I especially liked that they weren't perfect. They had their own baggage, which made them feel more relatable and added another layer to the story. The mystery itself was well thought out, and I appreciated that the ending felt earned instead of relying on a shocking twist just for the sake of it.

The pacing is definitely on the quieter side, so if you're looking for nonstop action, this may not be the right fit. But if you enjoy character-driven mysteries with an atmospheric setting and a case that keeps you guessing, I think you'll have a great time with this one.
