The Deal

The Deal was honestly such a fun read. It has all the college romance tropes — fake dating, hockey player, opposites attract — but it’s done in a way that feels really entertaining instead of overly cheesy.
The best part for me was definitely Garrett and Hannah. Their chemistry felt natural right from the start, and their banter was funny without trying too hard. Garrett comes across like the typical cocky hockey guy at first, but he actually ends up being really charming, and Hannah was easy to like because she felt grounded and realistic.
I also liked that the relationship developed gradually rather than feeling rushed. There’s plenty of humor and tension, but the book also mixes in some more emotional moments that give the characters a little extra depth.
Overall, it’s just one of those super bingeable romance books that’s easy to get hooked on. If you like college romances with good chemistry, funny moments, and lovable characters, this one is definitely worth picking up.
