The Order

Well… this book is absolutely unhinged. And apparently, that’s exactly what I was in the mood for.

The Order is dark, twisted, obsessive, and full of characters who should probably come with giant flashing warning signs. There are secrets, power games, questionable decisions, and enough toxicity to make you wonder why you’re still reading… while simultaneously refusing to put the book down.

Angel Lawson definitely doesn't ease you into this world. She basically grabs you by the hand and says, “Come on, we're making bad decisions today.”

I loved the secret-society atmosphere and the constant feeling that something sinister was lurking just beneath the surface. Every time I thought I had someone figured out, something happened that made me question everything again. And the relationships? Complicated doesn't even begin to cover it. These people need therapy. Lots and lots of therapy. This is one of those books where you just have to embrace the chaos, ignore every red flag waving furiously in your face, and enjoy the ride.

Dark. Messy. Addictive. Completely inappropriate in all the best fictional ways.
