Think about your wedding day, as you stand at the end of the aisle ready to meet your groom. You have waited for this day your entire life; you start forward with your father…walking toward the man of your dreams. He turns to look at you and you stop dead in your tracks the man waiting for you at the alter isn’t your fiancée, but a total stranger. Everyone else in the church, including your family sees your fiance, but you see a stranger. This psychological thriller is told in alternating timelines, Alice before the wedding, and Alice after. The before details Alice's romance with her "real" fiancé, the after details Alice's journey trying to figure out what has just happened. The book kept me interested; however, the middle was a little slow…the end a little quick. I did not figure out the ending at all, which speaks a lot for the book itself.
