Trial By Town

Trial by Town had that kind of story that slowly pulls you into everyone’s lives until you’re completely invested in all the drama, secrets, and tension going on in this small town. It definitely felt like one of those places where everybody knows each other, everybody talks, and nobody really escapes the past.
What worked best for me was the emotional side of the story. The characters felt flawed and believable, and you could really feel how much pressure the town itself puts on people. The gossip, judgment, and hidden history added so much atmosphere to everything happening.
I also liked that the mystery wasn’t just there for shock value. It felt tied to the characters and their relationships, making the story feel more personal and emotional rather than just suspenseful.
Overall, it was an engaging read with strong small-town vibes, complicated relationships, and enough tension to keep me turning pages. If you like emotional mysteries with layered characters and community drama, this one is definitely worth picking up.
