This book is just fun.

It’s one of those cozy, magical rom-coms that doesn’t take itself too seriously—but still gives you a really sweet story underneath all the chaos. Mariel is a witch who’s way better with plants than magic, and she accidentally summons a demon… who ends up fake dating her. The setup alone is kind of ridiculous in the best way.

The dynamic between Mariel and Oz is what really makes the book. He’s supposed to be this dangerous demon, but the whole fake dating situation softens things in a really entertaining way. Their relationship builds slowly, and it actually feels genuine instead of rushed.

I also loved the vibe of the town and Mariel’s garden magic—it adds this cozy, slightly whimsical feel that balances out the romance and humor really well.
