No Bad Deed

I really enjoyed No Bad Deed. It's one of those thrillers that grabs your attention right away and keeps piling on the tension. What starts as one good deed quickly spirals into a nightmare, and I couldn't help but wonder what I would do if I were in the same situation.

Cassie was an easy character to root for. She isn't perfect, but her choices felt believable, and I found myself completely invested in everything she was trying to protect. The story does a great job of showing how one split-second decision can completely change a person's life.

The pacing was one of my favorite parts. There weren't many slow moments, and every chapter seemed to add another layer to the mystery. Just when I thought I had things figured out, Heather Chavez threw in another twist that had me questioning everyone all over again. I also appreciated that the suspense came from more than just shocking reveals—it was the constant feeling that something bad was always just around the corner.

The ending wrapped things up in a satisfying way, even if I guessed one small piece before the reveal. There were still enough surprises to keep me hooked, and I closed the book feeling like it had been a really entertaining ride.
