Look Again

The whole story starts when Ellen sees a missing child flyer—and the kid looks exactly like her adopted son. And from that moment, you’re just like… oh no. You can already feel everything about to unravel.

What I liked most is how emotional it is. It’s not just a thriller—it’s very much about being a mom and what you’d do in that situation. It puts you in this really uncomfortable headspace where you’re constantly thinking, what would I actually do if this were me?

The pacing is quick, too. It’s super easy to fly through because every chapter gives you something new, and you just want answers. It definitely kept me hooked the whole time.

I will say, a couple things toward the end felt a little predictable, and I had a few “hmm…” moments after finishing. But while I was reading, I was completely into it.
