Love At 350

I went into Love at 350° by Lisa Peers expecting something light and sweet—and that’s pretty much exactly what I got, in the best way.

This is one of those cozy, feel-good romances that leans hard into the baking theme (which I loved). There’s a lot of warmth in this story—literally and emotionally—and it makes for a really comforting read. If you like books that feel like curling up with a dessert and a cup of coffee, this definitely hits that vibe.

The main character is easy to root for, and her journey feels relatable without being overly dramatic. The romance itself is soft and a little predictable, but honestly, that’s part of the charm. You kind of want to know how it’s going to turn out, and watching it unfold is still enjoyable.

I will say, it’s not super deep—this isn’t a story that’s trying to reinvent anything. But it doesn’t need to. It’s simple, sweet, and does exactly what it sets out to do.
