No Exit

This book had me stressed the entire time… like in a can’t-look-away kind of way.

It all takes place at a rest stop during a blizzard, where Darby gets stuck with a group of strangers. Then she discovers a kidnapped child locked in a van outside—and realizes one of those people inside is responsible. After that, it just doesn’t let up.

I flew through this. Every chapter ends in a way that makes it impossible to stop, and the whole thing feels super claustrophobic since they’re all trapped together. You’re constantly trying to figure out who it is, while everything keeps getting worse.

There were definitely moments where I was like there is no way this is happening—it gets a little over-the-top—but honestly, I didn’t even care because it was so entertaining. It’s intense, a little brutal at times, and just nonstop tension.
