Party of Liars

Party of Liars by Kelsey Cox is one of those messy, drama-filled thrillers where you know from the start that no one is being completely honest—and that’s half the fun.

It follows a group of people who all seem pretty put-together on the surface, but once you start digging, the secrets are everywhere. The story slowly unravels what everyone’s hiding, and it keeps you side-eyeing pretty much every character. Trust is basically nonexistent here.

I really liked the vibe of this one. There’s this constant tension, like something is about to go very wrong at any second. It does jump between different perspectives, which can feel a little overwhelming at times, but it also adds to the whole “who’s telling the truth?” feeling.

The beginning is a bit slow, not gonna lie—but once things start clicking into place, it definitely picks up. And while some of the twists you can kind of see coming, it’s still really satisfying watching everything fall apart.
