Passage completely surprised me in the best way. It starts off quiet and atmospheric, but before long, I found myself totally pulled into the story and not wanting to put it down. The writing has a haunting, almost dreamlike quality that makes everything feel a little unsettling in the best possible way.

What I loved most was the book's mood. There’s this constant feeling that something isn’t quite right, and it keeps building the farther you get into the story. At the same time, the emotional side of it really hit hard, too. The themes of grief, loss, and figuring out who you are after everything changes felt very real and grounded.

It’s definitely more of a slow-burn read than an action-packed one, but that’s part of what made it so memorable for me. If you enjoy darker, emotional stories with gothic and speculative fiction vibes, this is absolutely one to add to your list.
