Seventh Grave and No Body

Charley has a lot on her plate this time around—hellhounds, missing people, ghosts, family secrets, and enough danger to keep the pages flying. It sounds like a lot, but Darynda Jones somehow makes it all work. The story is fast-paced, full of twists, and I never felt bored.

One of my favorite things about this series is still Charley herself. She's sarcastic, stubborn, and always manages to find something funny even when everything is falling apart. Her relationship with Reyes continues to be one of the highlights, and I loved seeing their story develop even more in this installment.

The ending definitely left me wanting the next book immediately. If I had one small complaint, it's that there are a lot of storylines happening at once, so you have to pay attention. But honestly, that's part of what makes this series so addictive.

If you're already reading the Charley Davidson series, this is another fun, action-packed installment that doesn't disappoint. And if you haven't started the series yet, do yourself a favor and begin with book one—you'll appreciate all the running jokes, character growth, and overarching story so much more.
