The Flower House

The Flower House starts off feeling pretty straightforward—family drama, a stubborn homeowner, some tension around property and money—but the more it goes on, the darker it gets. And not in an obvious way… more like this slow, creeping feeling that something isn’t right.
I really liked how the story moves between past and present. At first, it feels a little disconnected, but once things start lining up, it adds a lot of depth—and honestly, a bit of unease. The past storyline, in particular, has a quiet tension that builds throughout.
The characters feel real; no one is perfect; everyone’s carrying something; and much of the story is driven by those messy relationships and buried secrets. It makes it easy to get pulled in.
It’s definitely more of a slow burn than a fast thriller, so if you’re expecting constant action, this might feel a little gradual. But once it gets going, it’s hard to put down.
