If you liked The Little Old Lady Who Broke All the Rules, this follow-up is just as fun and chaotic. The same group of rebellious seniors are back, and somehow they’ve managed to land themselves in another ridiculous situation. Instead of slowing down, Marta and her friends keep proving that getting older doesn’t mean you have to stop having adventures—or breaking a few rules along the way.
The story is light, silly in the best way, and full of moments that will make you smile. Watching this group stumble into trouble and then somehow talk their way out of it never really gets old. The humor is a little over-the-top at times, but that’s part of what makes the whole thing so entertaining.
Overall, it’s a quick, easy read that doesn’t take itself too seriously. If you’re looking for something funny and feel-good with a cast of mischievous older characters, this one is a good time.
