The story follows a newly married couple trying to move forward with their lives, but both of them are hiding secrets, and the deeper the story goes, the messier everything gets. I kept changing my mind about who I trusted, which made it really hard to put down.

What I liked most was how uncomfortable and suspicious the whole atmosphere felt. Every conversation seemed loaded with hidden meaning, and just when I thought I had things figured out, another twist would show up and completely change the direction of the story.

The middle dragged a tiny bit for me, but the ending made up for it. Once everything started unraveling, I couldn’t stop reading. If you like twisty relationship thrillers with unreliable characters and lots of secrets, this is a fun binge-read.
