My thoughts on "There's Someone Inside You House" by Stephanie Perkins. I wouldn’t necessarily call this one a thriller…it’s super creepy, anyone inside you house that moves items and even your furniture around is unsettling at best. In small town Nebraska, teens are being randomly murdered. As secrets are revealed about the teens that have been killed, the murderer’s frequency and intensity increases. I did not like the fact that the identity of the killer was revealed far too early, and the identity of the killer as a character was not introduce previously (or if it was, it was such a small occurrence that I don’t even remember). The premise was built around the secret that the main character brought from her past, the reason she was sent to live in Nebraska in the first place. The secret was not a devastating one, nor was it even remotely relevant to the storyline. The romance between the two main characters did not add to the storyline, it was almost as though it was added to make the story more readable. I would say that this book was more in the category of young adult slasher, not thriller
