I had a great time with Two Seconds Too Late. It grabbed my attention from the very beginning and never really let up. Between the undercover assignment, the missing person case, and all the twists along the way, there was always something happening that kept me wanting to read just one more chapter.
I really liked Riley and Greyson. Their fake relationship felt natural, and I enjoyed watching them slowly let their guards down while trying to solve the case. The romance never overshadowed the mystery, which I appreciated—it was just enough to add another layer to the story.
The suspense kept me guessing, and there were a few surprises I honestly didn't see coming. It's one of those books that's easy to get lost in because the pacing moves so well. I would have liked a little more background on a couple of the bad guys, but that's a pretty small complaint.
If you're in the mood for a clean romantic suspense that's packed with action, mystery, and plenty of tense moments, I'd definitely recommend picking this one up. It was a fun, fast read that kept me entertained the whole way through, and I'll definitely be continuing the series.
