Well, this was one twisted little mess of secrets, lies, and people I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw them!

Kiersten Modglin certainly knows how to make you question everyone and everything. Just when I thought I had a handle on what was happening, something else would come along and make me rethink it all.

I love a good psychological thriller where nobody is quite who they seem, and this one definitely had that. Plenty of tension, questionable behavior, and enough secrets to make you wonder if anyone in this story had an honest bone in their body.

Now, there were moments when I wanted to shake a few of these characters and ask what on earth they were thinking! But that's half the fun of reading something like this. The more suspicious everyone became, the more I wanted to know what was really going on.

Was it the creepiest book I've ever read? No. But it had that uncomfortable, something-isn't-right feeling that I enjoy in a thriller.

All in all, an entertaining, twisty read filled with secrets, deception, and people who seriously need to rethink their life choices.
