My Corpse Has a Heartbeat

Nick Roberts has a way of writing stories that are creepy, unsettling, and just weird enough to make me wonder what the hell I’m reading—and of course, I keep reading anyway. My Corpse Has a Heartbeat definitely fit that description.

This one had such an eerie feeling from the beginning. There’s this constant sense that something is wrong, and I loved not knowing exactly where the story was going. Just when I thought I had a handle on things, something would happen that made me question everything again.

It’s dark, strange, disturbing in places, and definitely not a feel-good kind of book. Basically, my kind of story. 😂 I especially liked the psychological side because the creepy moments weren’t just for shock value. Something much more unsettling was happening underneath it all.

A few parts slowed down for me, but once things really started coming together, I was completely invested. And Nick Roberts definitely knows how to create those scenes that stick in your head long after you've finished reading.

If you like horror that messes with your mind, makes you uncomfortable, and has you wondering exactly what is real, this is worth picking up.
