Praise definitely lived up to the hype. I knew it was going to be spicy, but I wasn't expecting to get so invested in the characters too. Underneath all the steam is a story about trust, healing, and learning to let people in, and I ended up enjoying that just as much as the romance.

I'll admit, I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about Charlie and Emerson at first. Their relationship is definitely unconventional, but the more I read, the more it made sense. Their chemistry is off the charts, but it never felt like that was the only thing holding the story together. I really liked watching them slowly break down their walls and figure out what they actually wanted.

The pacing kept me hooked, and I flew through this one much faster than I expected. There was a good mix of emotional moments, humor, and plenty of tension, so I never felt like the story dragged.

If you're looking for a sweet, closed-door romance, this definitely isn't it. But if you don't mind a lot of spice and want characters that actually have depth, Praise is a fun read. It was steamy, entertaining, and had more heart than I expected. I'll definitely be picking up the next book in the series.
