Pretty Monster

If there's one thing I enjoy, it's a book filled with questionable decisions, dangerous people, and enough red flags to decorate an entire town. And Pretty Monster certainly knows how to bring the chaos!

This is dark romance with a whole lot of obsession, possessiveness, and characters who clearly have never heard the words healthy relationship. And let's face it, sometimes that's exactly the kind of fictional madness I'm in the mood for.

I enjoyed the darker atmosphere, the tension, and that constant feeling that things could go from bad to downright disastrous at any moment. There were definitely times I wanted to grab the characters by the shoulders and ask if they'd completely lost their minds!

Now, did I love every decision these people made? Absolutely not. Did I keep reading to see just how much worse things could get? You bet I did!

This isn't a sweet little love story with flowers and happily-ever-afters wrapped in pretty bows. It's messy, obsessive, and full of the kind of behavior that would make me change my locks and move to another state in real life.
