Seven Reasons to Murder Your Dinner Guests was a book that completely pulled me in with its unique premise. Seven strangers attend a dinner party and leave with cards predicting the age they'll die. It sounds strange enough on its own, but when the predictions start coming true, things quickly take a dark turn.

I had a lot of fun with this one. It has that classic mystery feel where everyone seems to be hiding something, and no one can really be trusted. As the story unfolds, you start piecing together connections between the guests, their pasts, and the reason they were brought together in the first place. Every time I thought I had things figured out, another twist made me rethink everything.

The cast of characters is messy, flawed, and sometimes frustrating—in the best way possible. I found myself constantly changing my mind about who I suspected and what I thought was really going on. The multiple perspectives kept the story moving and added to the suspense.

What I enjoyed most was how addictive the mystery became. I kept telling myself I'd read one more chapter, and then suddenly I was several chapters farther in because I needed answers. The dark humor sprinkled throughout the story was an added bonus and helped balance some of the darker moments.
