Strange Practice

Well, this was a wonderfully strange little adventure, and I mean that in the best possible way!
Imagine being a doctor whose patients include vampires, werewolves, mummies, and just about every other creature that would send most people running for the hills. Welcome to the world of Dr. Greta Helsing, where treating the undead is just another day at the office!
I absolutely loved the idea behind this book. It's quirky, a little creepy, and filled with characters who are far more interesting than your average human. Greta herself is a breath of fresh air. She's intelligent, practical, and completely unfazed by the fact that her patients might have fangs, claws, or have been dead for several hundred years.
Of course, things get a little more complicated when something sinister starts stalking London's supernatural community. Suddenly, we're dealing with mysterious attacks, dark secrets, and a rather unpleasant threat lurking in the shadows.
What I enjoyed most was the mixture of gothic atmosphere, humor, and mystery. It isn't particularly terrifying, and there were a few moments when I wished the story would pick up the pace, but the unusual characters and wonderfully odd premise kept me entertained.
And can we talk about how refreshing it is to have vampires who aren't spending every waking moment brooding over their love lives? Finally, some undead creatures with actual problems!
If you enjoy gothic mysteries, supernatural oddities, and a little dark humor, this is a fun one to sink your teeth into.
