Well, this was one nasty little vampire story, and I mean that in the best possible way!

A desperate witch turns a serial killer into a vampire, and a hundred years later, he's still running around causing all kinds of bloody trouble. Because apparently being a serial killer wasn't bad enough. Let's make him immortal, too. What could possibly go wrong?

I really liked the old-school horror feeling of this one. Vincent Renquist is definitely not one of those handsome, misunderstood vampires you secretly want to fall in love with. Nope. This guy is pure evil, and there's absolutely nothing romantic about him.

When he sets his sights on a pregnant woman and her unborn baby, things get even darker. I liked the mix of supernatural horror, small-town danger, and ordinary people trying to survive something they really have no business going up against.

I enjoyed the creepy atmosphere and the idea of evil lurking for generations.

It's bloody, dark, a little disturbing, and has that classic vampire horror feeling that I don't think we see nearly enough of anymore.
