The Scent of Crazy

Okay, the title The Scent of Crazy pretty much guaranteed I was going to pick this one up. 😂 And honestly, it was exactly the kind of strange, slightly unhinged read I was hoping for.

This book takes you into some pretty interesting territory, and there were definitely moments when I found myself thinking, what in the world is happening here? But in a good way. The characters are messy, the situations get a little crazy, and just when I think I know where things are headed, the story takes another turn.

I especially liked the darker side of the story. Give me questionable decisions, secrets, complicated people, and a little bit of crazy, and I'm usually happy. 😂

A few parts dragged for me, and not everything worked perfectly, but I was entertained. And sometimes that's really all I ask from a book. Keep me interested, give me characters I want to know more about, and make me wonder what kind of mess they'll get themselves into next.

Definitely an unusual read, a little twisted, and appropriately crazy.
