Unmissing

Unmissing by Minka Kent was one of those books that immediately pulled me in with its premise. A woman returns home after being missing for over a decade, only to find that her husband has remarried, started a new family, and moved on with his life. Talk about an awkward homecoming.

This book kept me guessing the entire time. Every time I thought I had things figured out, another secret came to light, sending me in a completely different direction. The story is packed with lies, family drama, and characters who all seem to be hiding something.

I especially liked how quickly the story moved. The chapters are short, the pacing is fast, and it was one of those "I'll read one more chapter" books that turned into several more. While I didn't necessarily like all of the characters, I was definitely invested in finding out what was really going on.

Minka Kent does a great job creating tension and making you question everyone involved. There were plenty of surprises along the way, and I never felt completely sure of where the story was headed.

If you're a fan of domestic thrillers with messy relationships, buried secrets, and lots of twists, Unmissing is a fun and addictive read. I flew through it and had a hard time putting it down because I needed to know how everything was going to unfold.
