Whispers of Blue Ridge

Whispers of Blue Ridge was one of those books that had a little bit of everything I usually enjoy—mystery, secrets, atmosphere, and that feeling that something just isn't quite right.

I really liked the Blue Ridge setting. It gave the story this quiet, almost eerie feeling that worked perfectly with the mystery. There are secrets hiding beneath the surface, and the more I read, the more I wanted to figure out exactly what was going on.

The characters were interesting, although there were definitely a few times I wanted them to just TALK to each other. So many problems could be solved if people in books would have an actual conversation! 😂 But then I guess we wouldn't have much of a story.

There were a few slower parts, especially in the middle, but it never got to the point where I wanted to put it down. I was curious enough about the secrets and how everything would come together that I kept turning the pages.

Overall, this was an enjoyable, atmospheric read with plenty of mystery and small-town secrets. It wasn't completely perfect for me, but I had a good time reading it and really enjoyed the setting.
