You Better Watch Out

This book was a brutally graphic horror novel.  It is two days before Christmas and Jessica Kane only remembers going out for a jog and something hitting her.  As she wakes, she is in excruciating pain, a gash in her head, and blood running down her face.  As the ringing in her ears cleared, she realized she was stranded in a deserted town with five other strangers with similar stories to hers.  All the strangers share the same confusion and quickly realize that they need to escape, as someone is hunting them.  One by one, the hunter methodically orchestrates their death, and time is not on their side as they watch helplessly as other person die.  As someone commented, this book is a mash up of A Christmas Carol and the Saw movies.  The characters are not very likable, nor are some of the decisions that they make, but it’s a fun ride if you like gore.
